We have a lot of relationships. Normally we think of our relationships as being limited to family, friends, and colleagues, but we also relate to our neighbors, strangers, and the staff at our favorite stores. We are constantly dealing with people.

Dealing with people is a big part of our lives. What happens when we find others difficult to be around at home or work. Our wishes differ, our opinions clash, our priorities are at odds with others, so conflicts can build and we can feel like another person is making us stressed and miserable.

Buddha explains clear methods for taking control and realizing that we can change our relationship with others by changing the way we view them. In this class, we will explore some powerful meditations for viewing others more constructively that will enable us to respond to what they do more effectively. Practicing and becoming familiar with these meditations give us freedom to be at peace regardless of how others behave.
