I love you. From the earliest moments of our life we have heard this phrase used. We hear parents and children expressing their love with these three words, we see married couples and people who are romantically involved looking at one another expressing their love, sometimes we see friends saying I love you. Even though we see love expressed all around us throughout our life, how well do we understand love? Probably not all that well. This would explain why we listen to sad songs about how love is painful. In fact, as Buddha correctly points out, love is never painful! (Other feelings are though).

In this series we are going to look at what is happening in our heart in those moments when we feel love as opposed to those painful moments. We can learn the difference between love and painful feelings. Once we know the difference, we can start to work in our heart and clear things up. Buddha explained that relationships get a whole lot easier once we can recognize harmful and helpful attitudes.

In this series we will learn how to recognize the helpful thoughts associated with love and the harmful thoughts that are associated with pain.

Everyone is welcome.

This class is being held weekly Monday, Feb 1 - Monday, Feb 22
