This three-session retreat will focus on helping us develop a deeper experience of mindfulness and concentration in meditation. Through improving our meditation technique, we will find that we can develop the power to control our mind. Without control over our mind or thoughts, we are at the mercy of painful feelings. We can see from our own experience that we need mastery over our mind.
Joining our Thursday meditation practice classes, which are held weekly, will help you prepare for the retreat. Attendance at the Thursday classes is not necessary.
For people with a special interest in learning to meditate, we have developed a special meditation program. The program is designed to help people improve and enjoy their meditation practice. As part of this program, we are offering four unique online urban meditation retreats. The retreats are approximately every six weeks (Aug 20, Oct 1, Nov 12, and Jan 7).
Check our online calendar for more information about our other Thursday series and the mini-retreats.
