Find more peace, positivity, and joy in life, whatever your circumstances.

By practicing meditation we become more familiar with positive and beneficial ways of thinking, and reduce our negativity. Our practice also brings us more clarity and confidence. Anyone can learn to meditate, it's just a new skill.

Classes include guided meditation and a talk with simple wisdom for less stress, more peace, and deeper meaning in daily life.

Buddha's teachings provide practical methods for quieting the mind so that we can learnt to truly relax. We can find calm within the busy-ness of daily life, as well as effective ways of navigating the many difficulties in our world.

We have comfortable chairs for meditation. No special clothing is needed. Most classes begin with guided meditation, so please try to arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

Free parking is available in the lot behind the Center and in front.

We have several weekly drop-in classes, which are suitable for everyone. They include guided meditation, practical teachings, Q&A and discussion.

The Heart Sutra

 

SAT, March 15 | 10am - 3:30pm

The Heart Sutra is a condensation of all of Buddha's teachings. In this sutra, Buddha reveals the hidden truth of our self and the world we live in  emptiness.

Join us as we take some time to contemplate and meditate deeply on this wisdom emanating from the heart of Buddha. Emerge feeling lighter, wiser, and empowered to overcome obstacles in daily life.
